“I can relate to Jeremiah the weeping prophet” Jeremiah 8:4-9

I find myself crying more these days; endless tears and prayers to God with a broken heart for the lost people of this world.  No, I am not judging anyone when I share Biblical scripture.  I am just sharing God’s word with people.  Today was an unusual day for me.  This morning I cried nonstop for hours.  I couldn’t stop crying and my heart was so heavy and sad as I prayed to God today.  The more I cried the more I realized that God was laying this on my heart and He wanted me to weep and pray for the lost souls who won’t listen to Him.  He also reminded me that it is not me they are rejecting when I share the word of God on my blog, but they are rejecting Him and God’s heart is sad for them.  Yes, He has given us all free will, however He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked but rather joy when they turn to Him and repent.  My heart is still so sad today for the lost people of this world and I find myself even crying for those who have committed vile acts against people, yes rapists and murderers alike.  I also am weeping for the victims of crimes, too.  I am a survivor of rape, sexual molestion, attempted kidnapping, attempted rape, and being hit by a car and mugged.  All of these are separate crimes by different people and not at one time.  Though this all has happened to me, I have forgiven them and my heart wants them to turn to God and repent.  God is the one who is changing my heart and yes of course I am sad for the victims because it does cause a lot of emotional problems and physical pain, too.  So, I am not trying to diminsh any severity of what a violent criminal does and they should go to prison.  What I am weeping over is their salvation in Christ Jesus.

Also, even those who have head knowledge but not heart knowledge of God and His Word because they, too are at risk for being condemned by God.  I am not judging, just speaking God’s Truth.  I love all people and God is reminding me to only hate their sin and not them as a person that God created.  I hate rape, murder, abuse, and all other evil acts but not the people.  This is what God hates and they are who He loves.  He wants me to love who He loves and hate what He hates.  God has called me to share His Truth and I find myself more and more relating to Jeremiah the weeping Prophet as those whom I share with are rejecting God’s Truth.  Not everyone is rejecting, but there are more people that are rejecting it than those who accept it.   Jeremiah 8: 4-9  “Say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says:  “When men fall down, do they not get up?  When a man turns away, does he not return?  Why then have these people turned away?  Why does Jerusalem always turn away?  They cling to deceit; they refuse to listen attentively, but they do not say what is right.  No one repents of his wickedness, saying, “What have I done?”  Each pursues his own course like a horse charging into battle.  Even the stork in the sky knows her appointed seasons, and the dove, the swift and the thrush observe the time of their migration.  But my people do not know the requirements of the Lord.  ” ‘How can you say, “We are wise for we have the law of the Lord,” when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?  The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped.  Since they have rejected the word of the Lord, what kind of wisdom do they have?

“Keeping The Sound Doctrine” 2 Timothy 4: 1-5

In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge:  Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage- with great patience and careful instruction.  For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine.  Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.  They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.  But, you keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

 

“Longing for my heavenly home” 2 Corinthians 5: 1-10

The more I grow in Christ Jesus, the more I long for the day of the Lord Jesus’ return.  I am so thankful to have a relationship with the Trinity of God.  Though I don’t understand how the Trinity works because God has given me limited knowledge, I do know that it is true and believe this with all my heart, soul, and mind.  I am happy to be here each day with my family and to watch my children grow, but I desire so much in my heart to be in my heavenly home.  I do have God, but my longing is for when this wicked world will disappear and to live with my God and see Jesus face to face worshiping the perfect Lamb of God that was slain for my sin.  My sin put him on the cross but He was a willing sacrifice.  God the Father has so much love for us that He gave us His Son as an atonement so we can be reconciled back to Him.  I am so excited to see my God and bow before Him in awe with praises never-ending; praising Jesus for His perfect love for us.  I am waiting with increasing excitement as each day passes.  I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus also that they, too will grow increasingly joyful to meet Jesus in the air.  I don’t know if I will be one of the dead to rise first to meet my Lord in the air or the second, but however it is, I am so excited!

2 Corinthians 5: 1-10  Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.  Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked.  For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed, but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.  Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.  Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are away from home in the body we are away from the Lord.  We live by faith, not by sight.  We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.  So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

“Unforgiveness”

Do you secretly wish bad things to happen to your enemies in your heart?

Do you rejoice when those who hate you are stricken by calamity causing them to fall apart?

When someone hurts you relentlessly, do you harbor anger and a grudge?

Do you pray for God to destroy them all the while looking down on them as if you are the judge?

Ask God to show clearly what’s deep inside of your heart and He is faithful to do so

Because if you are holding onto unforgiveness, your Father in heaven will not forgive you also

Jesus said to pray for your enemies and to do good to those who persecute you

 God delights when the wicked turn to Him and repent of their iniquity because He loves them, too

Matthew 5:44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you  Matthew 6:15  But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive you your sins.

“Lamentations 3: 19-26

I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall.  I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me.  Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:  Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.  They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.  I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”  The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

“satan is trying to sift me like wheat”

I am in need of prayer because satan is trying to sift me like wheat.  Please, pray for me because of my personal struggle with depression.  satan wants me to keep quiet and embarrassed to let others know, but God has spoken to my heart to seek others for prayer about this.  God is helping me and I know that He hears the prayers of the saints who are in His will.  I will pray to and I know that I have an intercessor who prays for me to because I don’t know what I ought to pray for at times.  Right now God is warning me to be on the alert because satan is trying to sift me like wheat.  Please, saints be in prayer for me as I struggle with this depression.  Thank you God because you are faithful to lift me up out of the pit, in Jesus name, Amen!

“Rags To Riches”

Money, fast cars, boats, nice clothes, large homes, furniture, shallow friends who share the love of money with those who love it, and jewelry that cost as much as a home will make someone poor.  Why would this make someone poor?  Because it is worshiping false gods and when you love money and things of this world, they are false gods.  One day Christ Jesus will return and all those who reject God and His truth in Christ Jesus will perish along with the world and all things in it.  Mark 10: 21-27 Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack, he said.  “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.  Then come, follow me.”  At this the man’s face fell.  He went away sad, because he had great wealth.  Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!”  The disciples were amazed at his words, But Jesus said again, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!  It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”  The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, “Who then can be saved?”

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”  There are very few rich people who will enter the kingdom of God because they have indeed the righteousness of God from Abraham’s faith in God to those who accept the living word of God and have faith in God through the perfect Lamb of God in Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Job was an exception for a rich man to fear God and love God to be able to enter into the kingdom of God.  But, most people who have monetary riches will not look to God.  That is a fact that some refuse to accept and they will not give up their riches to follow God.  Do you want to go from rags to riches?  I can guarantee you this truth from God in His Holy Word how to achieve true riches:  Matthew 6: 19-21  “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.  But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Do not worry:  Matthew 6: 25 -33″Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; of about your body, what you will wear.  Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?  Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable than they?  Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?  “And why do you worry about clothes?  See how the lilies of the field grow.  They do not labor or spin.  Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.  If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O’ you of little faith?  So, do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that need them, But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.  Worldy riches will one day be gone, but eternal riches in Christ Jesus will never end.

“The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector”

Luke 18: 9-14  To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down upon everybody else, Jesus told this parable: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.  The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men- robbers, evildoers, adulterers- or even like this tax collector.  I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’  “But the tax collector stood at a distance.  He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’  “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God.  For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
