“The Lord’s Rebuke” Proverbs 19:20 Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise.

These Words in God’s Holy Word, the Bible are True and it is only natural, at first glance to shun them, however if we do this, then we are only listening to Satan instead of the Holy Spirit of God.  This is one reason why our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus taught us about being humble in our heart.  The Lord uses others to give us messages of Truth in His Word, when we are in error, and grieving the Holy Spirit of God.  Praise the Lord for this rebuke when someone corrects you in Truth of the Bible.  Those who speak of false lies by denying that Jesus came in the flesh being fully human and fully God, along with His death and resurrection on the cross for the sin of the world, and to save those who believe and trust in Him as their Lord and Savior, are one of the many antichrist.  We should not listen to anything they tell us.  We need to pray for our brothers and sisters in all of the earth for spiritual strength and guidance so they will grow in the Love of Christ Jesus and obtain wisdom with understanding for God’s Word.  We also need to pray for the lost souls who don’t know of the Love of Christ Jesus to be reconciled back to God as well as those who reject Him altogether.  My brothers and sisters, we are all growing and learning in our walk with the Lord.  We all strive to walk without error in the Lord, but we still at times make bad choices, which are sin against God and others.

Because of this reason, we are to accept rebuke from the Lord, whether He is speaking to your heart, or through another brother or sister in the faith to speak to you the wisdom that only God can give.  Proverbs 17:10 A rebuke impresses a man of discernment more than a hundred lashes a fool.  Proverbs 19:20  Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise.  2 Timothy 2:7, 15 Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.  Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.  John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
