“Unforgiveness”

Do you secretly wish bad things to happen to your enemies in your heart?

Do you rejoice when those who hate you are stricken by calamity causing them to fall apart?

When someone hurts you relentlessly, do you harbor anger and a grudge?

Do you pray for God to destroy them all the while looking down on them as if you are the judge?

Ask God to show clearly what’s deep inside of your heart and He is faithful to do so

Because if you are holding onto unforgiveness, your Father in heaven will not forgive you also

Jesus said to pray for your enemies and to do good to those who persecute you

God delights when the wicked turn to Him and repent of their iniquity because He loves them, too

Matthew 5:44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you  Matthew 6:15  But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive you your sins.

  1. After so much stress, and sleepless nights, I knelt down by my bed, and in an audible voice, forgave those who had hurt me. What a relief. I also pray for them on a daily basis. I follow His example. Blessings.

  2. Many years ago I found that forgiveness was one of my many problems God had to work with me on. Forgiveness is essential because, mainly, it’s God’s gift to us if we bring repentent hrearts to him. But the main thing I learned is general forgiveness was easy enough. Like the guy that cuts you off in traffic or asking forgiveness of my many sins. Forgiveness of those close to me was a little harder… but when I pray blessings on them i was also able to forgive these wrongs easier. The hard one was learning to forgive myself in the same way God forgives me. Mainly this was hard because Satan does not want me to forgive… at all. Satan is always trying to remind ME of MY past sins. BUT… God is Good!

    • Thank you for sharing how God is helping you with forgiveness. God is also helping with forgiving others who are close to me that have wronged me and continue to wrong me without any care. He is helping me to love them despite their behavior towards me.

  4. Solid ministering of God’s word for the day. I was unable to really forgive others until I saw how Jesus forgave me on Calvary’s Hill. Thank God for his mercies endureth forever.
